Captain Pete Matson was amazing. This was my 20th wedding anniversary trip with my husband and we could not have had a better guide to take us out. He was very personable and fun to hang with. And he helped us successfully catch about 20 beautiful fish. Thank you so much Captain Pete. We will see you again when we come back to Florida.

Hi Captain Pete Well after 22 years of fishing with
you I must say even at 72 years young I had the best
time in March. Our 2 days topped off with a 12 pounder.
As you know my biggest was a 16.2 caught a few years ago
on walk-in-water. It's the way you become best friends
with each person you fish with that makes fishing with
you so great. Over the last 22 years I fished with other
guides in other areas but never having the same FUN!!!
Just wanted to thank you for all the good times. If
anyone wants to catch fish and have a great time no
matter how big the catch is hope they find YOU!!! Thanks

Hi Pete, i just want to thank you for a wonderful
day on the lakes and helping me fulfill my dream of
catching a freshwater bass (and a chanel catfish !). A
great day in great company in lovely country and some
fish into the bargain and the ospreys were a real bonus.
I am flying back to the uk today with magical memories
thanks to you. You can be sure if I get back to this
neck of the woods I will be looking you up for another

Captain Pete –
what a great job today getting us on big fish. I have
never had a day where I caught a 9.5, a 9, two 8’s and a
7. The only downside was my friend Richard caught a
10;.5! But it was his first fish over 10 pounds so it
made our day. The best part was the double when I had a
9 and Richard had an 8 at the same time. It’s been a
great couple of days fishing with you.

Thank you
for a wonderful experience in Winter Haven, Florida.
Even though we fished in a cold front our day was a huge
success. Your kindness to all of us especially to our
seven year old son who caught four largemouth bass was
an absolute joy. I was just as thrilled when I reeled in
my first largemouth bass which was over five pounds. Not
to mention the grand finale when my husband caught his
biggest largemouth bass ever at 26 inches long and
weighing in at ten pounds! We had a spectacular day.

and welcoming hospitality.

Thanks
again for a great day on the Kissimmee River. Joy and I
had a good time fishing and we enjoyed our time on the
water with you. We will stay in touch and are hoping to
figure a way to do two full days next year; 1 bass and 1
saltwater flats! Look forward to seeing you again and
are already recommending you to any friends coming this
way.

My sons Brian, Jeff
and I just wanted to let you know again about the
awesome time we had fishing & "catching" with you last
week on Toho. We still can't stop talking about it. We
all plan to practice hooking and landing the big one for
the next trip. Jeff says that next time he's going for
the lunkers and will leave the "Jersey" bass for Brian.
We look forward to our next trip to Central Florida and
will definitely look you up and book the next time down.

Pete, I can't say in words of how much I enjoyed last
Saturday. It was one of the best fishing trips I've ever
had catching quality fish. I have to say your
professionalism was top notch, and you were very
pleasant to fish with all day. I'm a tournament
fisherman and I am very picky on who I pick to fish with
me. With the personality you have I'd call you any day
to get you to partner up with me in a tournament. Thanks
for breakfast, and thanks for giving me a little extra
fishing time. I'll never forget about my trip for as
long as I live. I also have a few buddies pumped up and
wanting to book with you. So, expect a few calls coming

went fishing with you on saturday feb,12. I landed a
9.7lb 27in. bass. You were going to send me a couple
pictures you took with your digital camera. I will never

Jack and I wanted to say thank you
again for a great trip. As usual we brought our cold
Vermont weather with us. We were concerned the cold
would shut down the fish but just like last year, you
put us on fish and we had a great time. The action was
great and we put 40 fish in the boat in three days not
to mention the hawgs we hammered. An 11-2, 9-14 and 7-12
plus all the 5 and 6 pounders we hauled in kept us
hopping. Again, thanks for the hard work. We can only
imagine what we would do if the weather cooperated for
us. See you next year.
