The Butler Chain of Lakes is comprised of 12 lakes connected by natural and man-made canals. This beautiful waterway was designated "Outstanding Florida Waters" in 1983. The Butler Chain, is a deeper weedy chain of lakes with a diverse clarity of water. Some lakes are crystal clear to the north while the lower or south end have more tannic color of water. Unlike most of the Lakes here in Central Florida depths can be found to over 30 feet in many of the 12 lakes. With over 20,000 acres of water choose from many lunker bass are caught annually.
